Solar panels really are a great investment, they are not a short term investment. You were exactly correct when you mentioned that as solar panel technology advances and efficiency increases, solar panels will become a shorter term investment.
They are already worth the money, but can you imagine how much that could potentially help the average family if they no longer had to make an electric payment every month! I would also let other readers know that solar panels offer a couple other financial benefits.
For example if your solar panel creates more electricity than you need to power your home, you can actually sell the remainder to the electric company and help recoup your investment. Your houses value is also positively effected based on the system you install. Putting Solar Panels on your roof is an amazing investment, guaranteed returns!
It will pay for itself, cancel out your electric bill, the electric company will pay you, and it will raise the value of your house. The government has incentives to help make solar panels more affordable to the average consumer.
